In the 29“ variant the special arrangement of the blocks and their elongation have been adapted to the longer footprint. Performance advantages of the large wheels are optimally improved.


Technology:

- Liteskin

The lightest option. LiteSkin MTB tires forego Snakeskin, but still have high pressure resistant tire beads. If you don’t mind the extra effort, these tires can also be converted to Tubeless by using a liquid sealant.

- Tubeless Technology

We at Schwalbe believe that Tubeless is the tire technology of the future!
Whether mountain bike, road race or touring. For all ambitious sports riders Tubeless is the right choice. Tubeless tires offers clear advantages in speed, comfort, grip and puncture resistance.

There is no friction between the tire and tube. This crucially reduces the rolling resistance.

Tubeless can be ridden at lower air pressure - without sacrificing performance! This brings significant advantages in comfort, but also significantly more control in critical situations and on rough trails.

Tubeless systems provide very high puncture resistance. Sudden loss of air through bursting tubes or valve tear off is impossible. At the same time a puncture protection liquid seals punctures while riding and within a few tenths of a second.

- Tubeless Easy / Snakeskin

The new st andard for our Evo tires. A new sidewall monofilament fabric brings three advantages over the previous SnakeSkin fabric: Even better cut resistance, increased protection and most importantly it allows an extremely easy Tubeless conversion.

The use of liquid sealant is neccessary, but otherwise installation is just as easy as with real Tubeless tires. Time consuming conversion requiring intensive shaking and frequent re-inflation is no longer needed with Tubeless Easy.

Tubeless Easy replaces both the previous Tubeless and Tubeless Ready versions.

- Handmade Tubular

Hand making a tubular tire is an art in itself. So, because production differs distinctly from the manufacture of regular bicycle tires, they are exclusively manufactured in a new Schwalbe factory.

For each, individual ´hand made tubular´ a lot of careful craftsmanship is required, so only the most skilled people are employed to construct each tire and, by hand, stitch and glue together each part.
