Avant uses a wider body than the other SMP4BIKE models. The extremely comfortable padding guarantees maximum comfort. It is covered in real leather in the black versions and microfiber in the colored versions. AVANT is slightly shorter and is equipped with a rather wide body. It is an excellent seat for all those who want comfort. The patented features by Selle SMP, such as the completely free central channel, the original eagle-beak nose and the raised rear give these models an interesting aerodynamic touch. It is also recommended for trekking bicycles. Suited for people with medium-wide and wide pelvises, also indicated for women cyclists.

Excellent saddle

I bought this saddle to put on my racing bike which I use to do Ironman 70.3, so each 90km outing goes very well. I had a saddle without a front opening, and it hurt so much. Here, there is no more pressure at all on sensitive parts, so no more sores or discomfort! I recommend with my eyes closed!

I did twice 270 km and many shorter rides 100 km+ with Avant and for me is better than previous saddles.

Very comfortable on long rides A bit heavy and pricey... but works very well on my 62 year old bones
