In my case it closed Tiagra gruposet .... was better to march exchange ratio and efficiency of pedaling. Before're fsa crankset ... not like ....

Good evening, I have a SHIMANO SMBB7141B PRESS-FIT bottom bracket. I want to mount this Tiagra 4700 10S Hollowtech 2 crankset; is it compatible? My old crank is a Shimano Tiagra FC4603CX090 triple and I want to upgrade to double. Thanks for your help. Cordially. Robert Laisne

The axle of a Shimano crankset has a diameter of 24 mm, which applies to all Shimano cranksets such as Tiagra and the 105 and Ultegra and Dura Ace. Except for the cheaper cranksets. But you can have problems with the axle length / bottom bracket width, but that is to be solved with a spacer behind the pressfit bottom bracket bearing

Hello. In principle, everything is compatible (the bottom bracket with the cranks), because everything is Hollowtech and 24 mm in diameter. You also have to think about changing the left control, because obviously a triple does not go with a double. Good luck!
