The 4-piston hydraulic brake discs fit seamlessly into the DEORE XT group.
They have been developed to enable an aggressive driving style, even on the most demanding terrain, while providing security.
To achieve this, the new stoppers rely on Shimanos Ice Technologies thermal management system, that is used in the design of the calipers, the compatible brake discs and the corresponding pads.

Really nice brakes and super quick shipping. I choose the more expensive DHL shipping option and the brakes got to me in New Zeaand in 10 days. I will replace the resin pads once worn with metalic pads and should have ordered some! The brakes are USA set-up with the right hand lever operating the rear brake so I wil change that!

After a thousand evaluations and mental ruminations, I decided to replace my Shimano MT brakes with these 4 piston Deore XTs. Coming from a four-piston front caliper, I didn't expect a lot of difference, if not purely on weight given the difference with my previous ones. In truth I found that these Deore XTs are more modular and with good bite. They come equipped with Resin pads, comfortable for novice bikers or in any case perhaps comfortable for the biker's break-in at the new braking power, but for somewhat demanding uses where the stress of the system increases, these pads naturally tend to finish soon. and cause a little loss of braking power. Having said that, I quietly solved it with bimetallic pads and certainly a brake bleeding kit to keep the system in excellent condition I think it is a must have. Having said that, I believe that the 4-piston Deore XT is a feasible investment and worth thinking about since safety, as well as performance, are not spared.

good product what you expect from shimano but the levers came the opposite way around with the rear having ,a right lever and the front having ,a left lever. not a hassle as i had to shorten the lines anyway so it was just a matter of swapping them over.

I already left a review for the Front Deore XT 4-piston disc brakes, and I feel the same way about the Rear Deore XT 4-piston disc brakes. Yes, prices are good at this website, but you never know what is going to happen with Shipping. Usually there are significant delays with Order Processing and Shipment Preparation, then it could be days before the Order is actually picked up to be sent. One thing that most riders do not consider is that many modern bike frames have internal cable routing. This poses a dilemma with pre-made rear hydraulic disc brakes, and sometimes the openings in the frame are not big enough for thicker hydraulic lines. Shimano should include some kind of mounting kit, or at least some zip ties. Otherwise, plan on spending at least 0 on a good brake bleed kit and Shimano Mineral Oil. Whatever you do, do not get the Mineral Oil (or any oil or grease) on brake pads or rotors.

I am replacing old Deore BR-M447 2-piston brakes with new Deore XT 4-piston disc brakes. Maybe there will be a break-in period, but my previous BR-M447 brakes actually “felt” more powerful. The new Deore XT 4-piston brakes are heavier, but have no detectable fade from use. My old BR-M447 brakes would fade when going down steep hills, but that may be because the brake pads were worn down. Prices are good here, but Shipping can be a nightmare with delays, etc.

The BR 8020 is a bit heavier (40g) than the BR 8000 but the 8020 gives you better modulation, stopping power and faint resistance. I replaced my 8000 for the 8020 just at the front ,paired with a 203mm rotor works great..!!! Bikeinn offers the best price and reasonable delivery time depending on where you live I highly recommend Bikeinn

The brake comes assembled with the cable and everything. Sold as a set, brake caliper and lever. Depending on the side you buy, in the drop-down menu where it says SIZE and QUANTITY you have the 2 options.

Yes, Complete with hose and already pre-bleed. Yes it is also right lever for rear, and left lever for front brake.
