I think these are the best brakes I've ever had, I don't think you need to spend any more money, very powerful, excellent quality. Yes they don't have the all the twiddly knobs that XT do, but you can adjust them with an allen key so no real issue.

I arrive on time, It is installed without problems, maybe I needed to cut the tubes 10/15 cm but that always happens I do not get into that, I fasten them with a flange so that they are not too exposed, everything ready to use. I weigh a lot, I'm looking for powerful brakes, these give me security.

Does the Shimano UK/AU MT501 4 Piston Front Kit include a left or right hand lever? The photo shows a left hand lever but the UK/AU designation leads me to believe it would include a right hand lever for a front brake.

I carry this same model but the two-piston one. Could it be replaced by this complete brake without any type of adapter for the caliper? And the pads I imagine they change compared to the two-piston model, right?
Hello, it can be changed. You will have to substitute the lever and the caliper. After that bleed the brake system. Regards.

Hi. I am not at all convinced with the touch of the rear brake of my Scott, it has the serial slx, and testing the lever of the mt201 gave me the security I was looking for. Since this one has 4 pistons and the handle and feel is similar, could you change the entire brake and fit this one? Would I have to change the disc? Thank you.
