I purchased the Shimano ST-5700 lever to replace mine, which was damaged following a fall. The lever (right in my case) is supplied with the cable for the rear derailleur (complete with terminations), not with the cable for the brake. The material was delivered in its original Shimano packaging, with relative assembly and use instructions. The delivery was quick: I am fully satisfied with both the product and the service.

The service was excellent and delivered on time. This replaces my Ultegra shifter which was sadly unavailable. It's not quite as sharp as my Ultegra but not bad. My advice would certainly be not to go any lower than 105 and it's pretty good for the price.

Is this brifters compatible with Ultegra 6600 10 speed? Can I just flip the brake cables for Left lever for Front brakes and Right for Rear brakes as a workaround? For a non EU cyclist.

Yes, I have used these levers as changeover levers for broken ultegra and dura ace shifters. They are an easy changeover and they work well. Andres.

I have changed over my front and rear brake / shifter handles. Shimano 105 purchased and delivered promptly installed and working very well. Smooth precise and simple changeover process. I am honestly recommending the 105 as a good alternative. I am happy with my rim brakes and mechanical shifters.
