I have ordered the RD-4700GS long box derailleur and they sent it to me very quickly. But in the end it is not compatible with the controls of the old Tiagra series (4600), and therefore I must return it. My mistake :-(

The Tiagra will work. I give that it ca. Handle as much as 34 in the rear and a 16T difference at the front.

This depends on the amount of cable that the shifter "moves" on. Being 9v, the pin still lacks movement...

I would like to comment that the shopping experience was perfect. At first, when not knowing the page, doubt it since the price was by far the best in the market including the dispatch to Chile. However, the charge was exact, and the dispatch was exactly at the time offered. Very good experience. The change Tiagra has a very smooth step, the long box allows to use sprockets of 34, which for those who usually perform long slopes, is very comfortable. It looks a lot like 105 of the previous version.

I'm impressed how well the Tiagra Derailleur work matched up with Tiagra shifters. I have Ulterga on my other Road Bikes and the Tiagra work just as well for half the price. When time to upgrade again will defiantly buy Tiagra.
