Bought to add a few teeth to the rear (11-34) to be able to ride with panniers, it's perfect. Obviously the 11-34 means that there is more difference between gears so you have to change gears more often. In any case we go everywhere without too much effort.

purchased SHIMANO HG cassette sprocket Tiagra CS-HG500, 10-speed, 11-34 teeth, joint in the indicated times. assembled without problems, but I had to replace the locking ring with the one I had because it had a slightly larger diameter and it touched the chain making it towable.

I don´t think there is a problem, but it depends on the type of box in the rear derailleur, you will have to add an extender.

Check your rear cage and if you see "SS" it means that it is a short cage that only supports up to a 30th sprocket, for 32 you need a medium or long cage. Depending on the chain size you have you might/might not be able to use the old chain but the rule of thumb is that you change the chain with the cassette together.

Generally, all Shimano 10sp cassettes are compatible with 10sp rear derailleurs (Tiagra, 105, Ultegra, and Dura Ace) as long as you rear derailleur cage can handle the largest sprocket (up to 30 to SS, up to 34 for medium, etc). The same goes with all 11sp cassettes.
