I ordered a shimano ultegra R8000 11v 34 tooth cassette. I received a cassette from a different part number (CS-HG800), which initially misled me into asking for a return. Information taken, it is indeed an ultegra R8OOO cassette. As such, shimano could issue the main reference on all its cassettes in order to avoid any misunderstandings. The tape works very well. I am satisfied with my purchase.

I was ecstatic when 12 spd finally came to Shimano because that meant everything 11 spd would remain the same price (post inflation). I've tried alternatives to this cassette, but nothing else makes sense whether that's the added price with Dura-Ace or the added weight penalty with 105 or even an off-brand which won't shift as well. Just buy these for your 11 spd and be done with it.

this is my second Shimano ultegra r8000 11-28 casette, the first one is on my trainer wheel. I am happy with them. Fast & light ( 251 g) I found out a difference between 6800 and 8000 one cog at 11 is halfway narrow than the others, maybe it makes it faster to shift.

I am very satisfied, the difference is substantial compared to my previous 11-28t, making it possible to climb sitting and in cadence in ascents of 10% to 15%. Hello, in principle no, you can look at the compatibility with the cassette on the manufacturer´s page of your rear derailleur, for example Shimano tells you how much is the maximum cassette allowed in that derailleur, which generally if it is manual and short leg it will tell you 28 , but it fits 30 maximum
