the ew wu111 unit has just been installed on June 4, 2021. first attached to the outside to do the necessary update. this went very smoothly. then just turned on the garmin 1030 plus and very quickly this item was found. then the installation in the seat tube was effortless. reconnected to garmin. perfect. ready in 20 minutes. this is plug and play. but first update before you make a connection, that's the message. good luck everyone.

Totally original product, it is not essential but it is good to have, it allows you to squeeze the functions and buttons of the Di2 to the maximum, for example: use the buttons above the handles and see the battery level. As always, excellent product, you only have to be patient if you are in Mexico, since the shipment takes approx. 4-6 weeks.

Small, light, quite expensive that should be integrated from the start. Works as it should every time. Displays the di2 battery, which gear type is selected and forward and back gear visually or with numbers on a d-fly compatible computer. Since it weighs almost nothing and takes minimal space, it is a good product. Recommended.

HI. Look, I connected it to an Ultegra Di2 R8050 even though it was created for Durace. This makes me think that it is compatible with the entire di2 system, but personally I´m not sure.

Good morning, I would like to know if the shimano EWU111 device would be compatible with my shimano ultegra di2 11-speed gearbox mounted on a canyon aeroad from July 2015. The reference of the gearbox joint is SM EW 90A. In case it was compatible I would like to know if through an Apple smarphone and with the E-TUBE application you can make adjustments to the change.
