Original product with a modest price in its original box. Xt 8000 not xt 8100. Sending a little long in Canada and you will have to pay customs. If it is a large sum like more than 150 there is a good chance of paying customs.

It's a Brake Lever. It works like one

It's a brake lever and it does a damn good job at being one... but not too resistant to a bump on the trail. The reason i needed to buy this as an individual item is that i cracked mine off the handlebars. it took surprisingly little force to do so. My friend had the same problem, within a week, with the same lever. Seems these XT levers have a weak point at their mounting bracket hinge. It almost seems as though Shimano have designed these to sheer off at this point to protect the lever itself, but the strange thing is that the bracket is unreplacable, so you've got to buy a whole new lever anyway...

Left brake lever

When I'm sitting on the bike, the lever on the left hand side is broken and connects to my back wheel . Just wanted to confirm this is the right lever.

Left is rear, right is front in countries that drive on the left hand side of the road. The countries which ride on the right it's the other way round. This is the left sided EU lever. Easy way to work it out is follow your brake hose from your front caliper to your lever. That one is your front brake. The lever on the opposite side is the one for the rear brake.

Good morning I have a cube set up with left and xt controls unfortunately the brakes are maple and I have a problem on the right lever and I would like to replace them both with the m8000 is it possible? I mean I think the threads of the oil pipes are all the same. Thanks in advance
