For a sate mounting of the plate, the connecting rod has a Direct Mount system that simplifies the change

this is my third xt crankset and have had the 2 previous versions. not a hole lot of difference other than the lock ring which is great. the crankset comes with the tool for the lock ring which is great not having ,to buy a tool in addition to the crankset. it is shimano quality!

Cranks are perfect. Really happy I was able to find 165mm. Super fast shipping.

Quality crankset, a bit heavy, includes lockring tool!

This crankset is very much what you would expect from Shimano XT, great quality, nice appearance, strong and stiff, but a little heavy. This weighed 528g (without chainring) for my 170mm set. The XT 32T chainring adds an additional 115g. An important note!! The crankset includes the TL-FC41 tool for installation of the chainring lockring, so don't buy one separately like I did!!

Are these xt 8100 cranks compatible with my bottom bracket?

Are xt 8100 cranks compatible with my mt500 bottom bracket? Or would I also have to change the bottom bracket for a mt 800?

This crankset comes with cranks only. No chainring! It does supply a tool to change the chainrings over

I'm currently running m8000 cranks on giant reign will this fit my current bottom bracket believe its a press fit or do I need a different one and is this the correct crank for 142mm rear set up on the reign Thanks shaun
