DEORE XT - Durability and performance for today´s mountain bikers

- The new DEORE XT M8100 series includes innovative features such as the MICRO SPLINE sprocket cassette with 10-45T or 10-51T teeth development, 1x12 or 2x12 HOLLOWTECH II crankset , powerful 2-piston and 4-piston brakes, adjustable ISPEC-EV shifters, 12-speed rear derailleur and derailleur, ICE TECHNOLOGIES FREEZA fast-cooling rotors and complete wheel sets for XC or Enduro, all adjusted to The needs of mountain bikers today.

- Brakes: The DEORE XT brake calipers are available in a 2-piston version specific to XC and in a 4-piston version for Trail / Enduro. The 2-piston version shares the same design as the previous XT M8000, which means that the G02A / 3A / J02A / 3A resin pads and the G04S / J04C metallic ones are compatible, while the 4-piston version is completely new, inspired by the XTR M9100, with which it shares the N03A (resin) and N04C pickups (also compatible with D03S and D02S).

- The DEORE XT brake levers work with both XC and Trail / Enduro calipers and are equipped with Shimano´s SERVO WAVE system for faster coupling, improved power and faster response. The levers now come in two positions on the handlebar to provide a stiffer braking sensation. They also have dials that allow the braking adjustment during the ride.

- The XC brake kit (BR-M8100-BL-M8100) with rotors (160 mm RT-MT800) and pads weighs 392 g and the Enduro kit (BR-M8120-BL-M8100) weighs 410 g, including rotors and pads.

- Leave each adventurer who rides a MTB, on each outing to the adventure, whether up or down, accelerating or braking, on gravel, on rocky terrain or on a mountain path, responding to the cyclist´s will, conquering every situation and subtly allowing the cyclist´s awareness to be part of his experience ... all for a successful adventure, with the new SHIMANO DEORE XT.

Technologies:

- SERVOWAVE, When a SERVOWAVE brake lever is pulled, the initial travel of the pad is fast, so that only a slight movement of the lever is needed for the pads to come into contact with the brake disc. The power multiplier factor then increases rapidly at the “pickup / tire” contact point, so that the lever travel is used to apply greater stopping power with greater control.

- Reach Adjust, The brake lever is equipped with a range adjustment mechanism. The distance between the handlebar grip and the handle can be adjusted to suit any hand size or type of cycling, as well as the individual preferences of the cyclist.

- Free Stroke, You can adjust the distance from the initial position of the lever to the point of contact of the tablet to adapt it to any size of hands, type of cycling and individual preferences of the cyclist.

If you can mount the gear lever on the lever if you already had it like this in the previous brake lever. And if this is not the case, they sell a small adapter that goes between the two levers precisely for that need.
