Great pedal! Foot feels secure when managing jumps and clipping in and out is a breeze....great looking but doesn’t perform well in snow packed conditions......

This is my 3rd set of XTR pedals. I have 2 sets of the 9100's on other bikes, and I got these for my trail bike. The extra platform over the XC pedals give a bit more stability. The Shimano pedals and cleats are super durable, and give a very positive feeling when clipping in and clipping out, as well as comfortable amount of float. They still work when packed with dirt and mud as well.

These are my favorite pedals. They're extremely easy to clip into. The platform makes it very easy to slide your cleats into the mechanism. I've smacked them against many, many rocks over the past 6 months and they've held up perfectly fine.

I have been using these pedals for about 6 months and 500 miles. They've been the easiest SPD pedal to clip into by far. The larger platform probably has something to do with that. They're light for an enduro pedal and so far they show no signs of wearing out. They definitely have the classic Shimano durability and thoughtful design built into them.

You can always expect the best from the Shimano XTR range of products. These pedals are no exception. They are very well made and will last for many many years of riding. My one tiny complaint is that they're a little bit heavier than I would have preferred. Otherwise they're great. You should not be disappointed if you purchase them.
