- Incorporates features of resistance, stability, lightness, transpirability, water-repellency and eco-friendliness. It is manufactured using the “Water-Tech” water treatment. Lower environmental impact, less noxious emissions into the air and into the work environment and the fact that not solvents, but water-based products were used, is beneficial to the environment as well as the final user.
GORE-TEX:
- The GORE-TEX® membrane is at the heart of all products engineered with GORE-TEX® fabrics. It contains over 1.4 billion microscopic pores per square cm (9 billion pores per square inch). These pores are 20,000 times smaller than a water droplet, but 700 times larger than a water vapor molecule. Water from the outside will never penetrate. Yet perspiration can escape easily, so that less moisture is trapped in the insulation. The result: you stay warmer when it’s cold and drier when you perspire.
Tecno - 3 System:
- SIDI’s TECHNO-3 SYSTEM dials in fit along the entire length of the shoe, adapting the upper to the shape of the foot for a customized fit. SIDI’s famously reliable and replaceable closures are improved by an all new proprietary SIDI Wire material that is completely non-binding for intuitive and effortless on-the-fly adjustments. Like most SIDI small parts, the TECNO-3 BUCKLE is serviceable and replaceable.

- The reinforced heel keeps the foot in a optimal position and avoids the shoe being deformed by extreme performance or prolonged pressure.
SUOLA MTB RS17:
- Lighter and more performing the new Sidi MTB sole is made of nylon with PU (polyurethane) inserts. The shape of the sole tread has been specifically designed for mountain bike, it allows a good grip, facilitates mud dispersion and provides the right stability. The central insert with the Sidi logo works as non-slip and it is practical and useful especially to the less experienced users. The toe area that is more subject to wear, especially when walking, can be replaced by screws and still offers the possibility to mount crampons to improve traction on particularly muddy grounds. RS17 represents the ultimate result in terms of stiffness for pedaling and flexion for walking.

Fits great, but it is rather thin and in cold weather (below -2 to -5C) it is not warm enough for longer rides (1hour and longer) It has SIDI dial, which works fine and I cannot compare longevity to BOA dial, but BOA dial is easier to use. Quality is perfect, everything fits...

Excellent for winter. Very warm and completely waterproof. I've been in a lot of rain with it and gotten into puddles. The foot remains completely dry. Allows a lot of stability when pedaling. In summary: excellent purchase!

Perfect shoes, from the first moment I put them on as if I had worn them all my life, in fact you have to order one more size than your usual one and their function of protecting you from the cold and humidity has been achieved, I have been riding in humid fog and three degrees below zero in the mountains and with good thermal socks I have not felt cold at all, for me extraordinary

Happy with this purchase which I hesitated to make because of its price. In humidity or cold, they protect the feet. I took a size larger to avoid having my feet too tight and to allow me to wear thick socks. The fact that they are high prevents the ankle from being released and they will have to soften to be more comfortable.

I use these Sidi boots for winter road and mountain bike rides. They can combined with overshoes when its really cold and wet, but most of the time they are great without. If riding in the rain for several hours the water will seep down your legs into the boots, so you will eventually get wet feet, but in most conditions these are great. Nice and stiff with good power transfer. Look very well made and will last many years, worth the investment. I am size 45 in Shimano cycling shoes and size 45 in these.

SIDI quality at the rendezvous, nice pair of shoes, a bit less comfortable than the Wire or Dragon shoes, perhaps because the heel is not adjustable. I do not regret this purchase, my feet dry during the winter season

Hello 3 hours outing at -3 degrees: No <frost> toes, just a little cool (Verjari thermal and waterproof sock), which is much better than with my NW efficient in the same conditions for 30 minutes! Size small, I usually wear a 43 and a 44 is perfect. Easy to put on and comfortable. Good transmission of power to the pedal (SPD cleat) Easy and efficient tightening system, but with fingers numb by the cold not easy at first to loosen; and I am not sure that it is well suited to the big liquid slush! A very good choice, and so much the better considering the investment! Loïck

Hard to get off the shoes

The shoe is good when you have it on, but is completely hopeless to get off, you also need to open it enough to get your feet under. Do you have any tips? Bought them last winter. When the bike ride is over, and I´m going to clamp the two spring-loaded things on either side of the tension wheel, it´s impossible to loosen, so they´re basically useless. Please send me a video to show me. Hoping for a quick reply, as I cycle every day. Geir

I had the same problem at the beginning. Try to press clips on both sides of the wheel and turn the wheel anti-clockwise at the same time to loosen the shoe.
