One thread had worn half way through after 3 years. Getting the shoe out of the old one was easy, when putting it in it was just a bit more difficult, but with the help of a flat screwdriver it popped right in.

I also have the Drako 2 SRS, and the front (the longer) wire had worn out. So I ordered this one. Replacing it is pretty simple. Use some force to get it out, bend it a little. To put the new one in, I bend it and used a screwdriver to slip it in.
