Which type of bike hubs are there?

The bike hub is the center part of your bikes front and rear wheels, which unites to the wheels edge by the rods and by which the axle is implemented, allowing the wheel to smoothly rotate on two sets of pivots. The best bike hubs are available on Shimano, Sram, Specialized, Mavic, Tacx. You can also buy the bike hub parts from these brands. There are many bike hub parts on these brands.

Types of Bike Hubs

Track hub
The unique characteristic of any bike track hub is its advanced threads. The central thread that the wheels rods or sprockets are connected to is comparable to that of a freewheel hub. Apart from that a threaded segment that has less width serves as a unique lock ring. This is a very efficient type of hub.

Flip Flop hub
They are also termed double sided hubs. They have strings on both sides. One side is created with track type threading, which has a lock ring. The other side is formed with a single speed wheel; there are frequently regular versions. There are several situations that both sides have of course threading, but these are normally very limited.

Conventional Freewheel hub
If you need to improve your multi speed bike into a rigid gear bike is by utilizing the rear cog hub like a conventional threaded freewheel hub, it is probably because a rigid sprocket will attach directly on but the only downside is the point that there will be no requirement for the lock ring.
