A good compromise

I didn´t have the time to get insoles measured/sized up by a medical professional before an amateur 100mile bike race. With metatarsalgia flaring up during my preparation. The insoles did the job and got me round. Comfortable and decent quality but this is after only a few wears. So far, so good.

For a "standard" insole, they make a big difference in pedaling comfort. Without these insoles I soon had problems with the outside of my foot. With the sole the power transfer is better distributed.

I have the Specialized Rime Flat shoes and found these essential to making them comfortable. My knees instantly hurt when I tried on the shoes, but adding these soles put my feet in the correct position. They are expensive for inner soles, but they´re a lot cheaper than knee surgery.

They are excellent templates. It is the second pair that I buy because there is no comparison between the original ones that the shoes come with and these. The foot is much more collected and molded to the shoe, making pedaling much more comfortable and effective.

After going through the biomechanics and checking how the insoles that the shoes come with are, I have been able to verify that wearing a reinforced insole is worth and is very necessary if you want to correct knee positions, not suffer from the sole of the foot and have a larger surface to transmit the watts. The original insoles of the Sworks shoes is a slice of foam. You are supporting the entire foot. I have flat feet and I bought the red version and this blue one and I recommend the blue one without hesitation. Even if you have a flat foot at the end, more arch support translates into better foot support, more comfort and better power transfer.

Hello: The EU42-43 insole measures 28 cm long. MY foot measures 26.8 cm. and I wear them in several mountain shoes, from the Sidi brand, size 43 (this brand recommends one size larger than what is normally used). With your foot measurement, I think 44-45 is better for you. All the best

Hello: The ones I use are the Body Geometry ++, size 7 [42-43 (EU) and 9-9.6 (US)]. I have 3 pairs. They measure 28 cm. long and I wear them in SIDI size 43 uzpatillas (I wear 42 on the street, but at SIDI I wear one size larger). I think that, if necessary, they could be trimmed a little at the toe, but not at the heel, as it has a raised edge. All the best.
