Excellent bibshort for spring and autumn. They are warm (brushed fleece lining) and rain-repellent (but no waterproof). The longer leg gives you coverage and warmth, while also making a great combo with leg warmers. Size XXL is proper for height 193 cm and weight 85 kg (close fit). If you're taller or weigh more, consider choosing a bigger size.

I have other Sportful Total Comfort bibs, and I think it's perfect, so I decided to test that one. From my experience I have to buy size L from Sportful, just like Castelli, are smaller. In most other brands I am size M or up to S. This bib is long in the leg, more than normal, which is fine, but it makes the silicone band on a little bit in the end, I had to take in the dressmaker for her tighten the end of the strip causing it to be "tapered" and that solved. It is a good bib for the price, but if it were to buy another I would rather pay more and get the Pro version with better chamois, more comfortable bands and a better finish than this one.

Word these on a cold spring ride and the micro fleece lining keeps the quads and other parts nice & warm. I´ve yet to test them in the rain, but I´m sure they will be fine. They feature the BodyFit pro pad, which although not the top of the Sportful range, it´s certainly good and I´ve ridden 265km on this pad as well as a done a week in the alps using bib shorts all of which were the same BodyFit pro pad.

I ordered an xxl where I normaly would have ordered an xl. I am 1.88 meters 83 kg. De bib is very warm. I used with 0 degrees with a pair of legwarners. De bib is very comfortabel and warm. I did have some issues with the breathing. Seems like the sweat doesn´t go away so after 2 hours the bib was all sweaty.I do like the bib though.

Bought these for cool spring weather of roughly 10°C, did test these recently at -1°C with a warm baselayer below and leg warmers - perfect! Never once was I cold.The shorts are very comfortable and fit well, rather long at the legs, but I like that.

This is a great pair of bib shorts. Sizing is typical of an Italian brand (on the tighter side). Once on the bike you don´t notice them which says it all. They will keep you warm to around 9 degrees depending obviously on personal preferences. The additional water resistant feature works well and kept me comfortably dry and warm on my last showery ride. Would highly recommend to anyone riding in changeable weather conditions like here in the UK.

The qualities wet and cold weather are undeniable. Criticism of the adjustment is due to the material that is less elastic than in the good summer shorts, posing problems for remote average body sizes. The fit is perfect for me. I feel I'll laugh at the rain ...
