The 612 ERGOWAVE® saddle was specifically designed to meet the requirements of competitive and leisure cyclists both on the road and on mountain bikes.
The wavy shape and raised rear section provide perfect rear support and optimal pressure distribution that reaches deep into the body structures and improves power transmission.
The low toe in combination with the tilt provides optimal pressure relief for the perineal area.
The slim but flat SQlab MaxContact® saddle tip and firm padding of the 612 were designed specifically for the needs of the road bike.

I already rode the SQ lab saddle for a couple times. It seems better than my ever reliable saddle Fizik Antares R1. The good thing is there no cut out in the middle of the saddle which I hate riding when it’s raining coz my bibs shorts is getting wet. The rear elevated portion of the saddle makes a pressure relief on the perineal area. I’ll do a century ride this weekend and see what will I feel during a long ride.

Early impressions are that it's a good fit based on the sizing recommendations from the SQ Lab website. Relieves any pressure on the perineum area compared to my previous saddle. Carbon rails make it very light compared to metal rails on my previous saddle.

After doing a bike fitting, the SQ lab 612 was recommended. Width 14cm. I was skeptical at first but then tried it out and it's awesome. A difference like day and night to my Selle Italia saddle. No more problems on long journeys, it's like sitting in the living room armchair. But if you buy one, the size should be right. For me a gain in ride quality
