The Sram GX Type 2.1 Rear Derailleur is an excellent option for mountain biking where you need safe, smooth, and fast shifting, which offers stability and easy wheel installation. It is compatible with 42 tooth and 10 speeds and includes a bearing clutch that eliminates chain bounce and bumps, although it also sold without a clutch.

This bike rear derailleur is made of aluminum, while the pulley bearings are made of steel. The X SYNC technology provides good performance, easy shifting, and silent operation. The X HORIZON allows for faster and effortless shifting.

Besides, it comes with a cage lock that makes wheel removal and installation easier. It features X-Actuation technology specially designed for 1x transmissions and avoids ghost shifting.
Leveraging the legendary history of SRAM shifting, the GX 2x10 rear derailleur provides incredible shifting speed and precision.

Good looking, good quality, easy installation. It might be tricky to "unfold" the derailleur the first time once unpacked - it seems like it's stuck but it's actually not. "Cage lock" feature with a small button is also great
