The Quarq DZero Powermeter Spider is compatible with Specialized S-Works racing cranks from model year 2013.
A specialized Lock Ring Tool is required for installation.

I was looking for this power meter for a while but the price was just not in my budget until I get across 'Bike Inn' I didn't believe the price but it was real, I didn't think twice and immediately bought it! Great Deal! I'm more than happy with the product, from day one this power meter is giving me accurate power reading and if you have a Garmin cycling computer it gives you the power balance of your left and right foot, just amazing. Coming from a single leg power meter, this feature is an add up. The Installation took place in a Specialized shop because Specialized uses a proprietary tool that is only available in authorized shops. Other than that, this is the deal!

I have mounted it on the same model of bicycle but from 2016, be careful! The important thing is to check that the cranks are Specialized or S-WORKS version. In theory, it is valid only for Specialized cranks, because the spider´s anchorage must coincide with that of the crank. If your cranks are SHIMANO, I don´t know if the anchoring is the same as the Specialized one.

In theory, it DOES have to be compatible with all Specialized/S-WORKS cranks, for your safety, just do a simple check; that your cranks are 5 bolts or, if you know if your chainrings are for 110/5 BCD anchoring, it is compatible. Another recommendation that you should take into account is that you will need the specific key to remove the anchor nut of the Specialized/S-WORKS spider and that it has an approximate RRP of €22-30.

No, this potentiometer is not valid for the type of anchoring of the SRAM spider cranks, it is for the Specialized spider dd cranks.

Yes, the spider anchor is for a Specialized crank, you need your specific bit wrench to loosen and tighten the nut and the chainrings must be 5-bolt 110 BCD. The potentiometer works very well, perfect connectivity with GARMIN, the SRAM App is very good for its start-up, initial calibration and battery status, it is very precise and does not need calibration after the first one after assembly. Totally recommended.

Your Specialized crank has the chainrings star, size 130 or 110mm, attached to the crank by means of a mounting ring. To release it you will need a special tool from Specialized or visit your local bicycle mechanic/Specialized dealer. Then you can swap the default star for the Quark power meter.
