2 different answers here about whether or not its a power meter crankset, is it or is it not a power meter crankset? As title states power meter.

What does activation required mean and is this a genuine power meter crankset? What is the difference between this and other sram force aero cranksets with power meter also that are more expensive?

This is a standard crankset with aero crainring mounted with SRAM 8bolt system. There is no powermeter built in, but crankset can be equipped with either 1x Aero powermeter chainring, SRAM ASX Force/Red powermeter spider or 2x ASX Red powermeter chainring..

No, it´s not included, it´s a normal aero version, the power meter is a possible upgrade.

How do you activate the power meter and what is the cost

Hello, you activate the power meter by removing the plastic protective film on the battery and then turning the crank once. For synchronization with various Ant + systems simply connect to devices and turn the crank. To calibrate the power meter (offset and length adjustment), do the same, but turn the crank anti-clockwise, everything without sitting on the bike and only turn on the side where the chainring is, otherwise the values will be changed. Everything can be viewed under SRAM Manuals. Check the costs either here or on various sites, otherwise they range between 750€-900€.
