I bought the 48T/38T pair to replace the outer and middle rings on my Stronglight tripple chainset on my tandem. I actually wanted 48T/36T, but it was not available so I had to settle for the 38T middle ring. It took a very long time to arrive. Only limited range availability on TradeInn, I whish they had more sizes available.

Hi, Ive been using the 42t Stronglight for almost a year now. My bike is a triple chainring and this is the third and by far the best middle ring that I have fitted. I see no reason why it would not work very well as the big ring of a double. Chris

Hello, Normally you can mount the board in 42 intermediate. The 2 parameters to check are the center distance (= 110 mm) according to what you say and the number of speeds. Good luck.

Yes, it will work, but since it is not narrow-wide type of chainring, You will need front deraullier or chain Guide to prevent the chain From going off. Or single speed with good tension
