I swapped a Shimano hg500 11-38 cassette for this one. perfect And lighter. The shift screw must be adjusted to separate it more for the 42. The chain without problems, does not need any more links.

As soon as I received my cassette, I replaced my 11-42 with my new Sunrace 11-46 cassette. A small shift adjustment. The regular layering arranges things well. I am delighted with this purchase.

Excellent cassette for converting a ten speed MTB to a single front ring with a wide range cassette. No disadvantages that I can tell. It's a very lot of cassette for the money, take care when tightening the lock ring as it's alloy. I stripped one once through over tightening it but it's compatible with the Shimano one from any old cassette I so just put that on instead.
