The New Slick is our newest tire to our lineup. It has a new tread pattern that gives it improved rolling resistance over other Tannus tires. The New Slick is made using patented puncture proof resin called Aither 1.1 that allows the New Slick design to replicate the weight and resistance of a standard tire and be the only airless bicycle tire to weigh the same as the standard tire, tube, and rim-strip combination. In addition to the minimal weight and resistance, the Slick repels the elements and provides a guaranteed 5000 miles of flat proof riding. The New Slick even excels in wet conditions with increased grip and also offers no stretching in the heat.
- Without the worry for flats, the New Slick can be used for today´s wider rims accommodating a wider size than other Tannus tires. Depending on the width of the rim (inside the rim) you will have to mount the corresponding cover, for example the one on the upper part "SLIC" can only be mounted on a 13 to 15mm wide rim if the rim had a width of 17 to 20mm you would have to mount a PORTAL and thus different options always depending on the width of the rim you buy

Good afternoon, which 700×23 tannus tire is harder and more resistant, regular? or Hard? I want one that looks very full of air... very hard.

Hi, The hard one is harder. I tried the hard as I used to inflate my regular tires to the max and I was used to a stiff ride. However I found the hard tires too hard for me and I noticed that as they wore, the rougher the ride got. I´ve switched to regulars now and prefer them. Hope that helps.

The difference is on the equivalent of the pressure of an inner tube tire.

Hi, It refers to the hardness and thus the ride of the tire. The Regular is softer and smooths out the road bumps more than the Hard. I´ve ridden both and prefer the Regular but keep in mind that I am pretty light (64kg). Hope this helps.

The regular one is softer. Riding hard on the rear wheel and regular on the front is (in my case, I weigh 74 kg) a configuration to improve comfort.

Hello, I have an ordinary racing bike, 28 inches, the tire width about 23 mm and the inside diameter of the wheel 15 mm, I would like to know if I can put a Tannus Slick Regular tire on it, and if so, Is there a tool to install the tire? Is it possible to do it by hand? Thanks see you soon
