It fits very well. I have even been able to put two reinforcement straps on mine without having to drill holes. I have used it with more load than recommended and it has only loosened from the supports, holding in place. Allows several types of saddlebags. In our group it is the third one we have purchased.

This Thule rack for mountain bikes is a superb design allowing it to fit many styles of new breed of mountain bikes (mine is Whyte electric) where other racks cannot go. Fits front or back and can be removed without tools (except for special Thule one) in seconds and replaced once set up. Would thoroughly recommend. Also purchase from Bikeinn went brilliantly with parcel arriving ahead of time. Well done.

It seems well made to me, I will only be able to give the definitive review when I have used it (next June). It would be nice if Thule also made a titanium version to reduce weight, obviously with a higher price, but in my case I would have taken it into consideration.

I applied this article to a full mtb as I can't stand wearing a backpack especially with the summer heat that always leaves your back wet. Now I travel lighter and with an 8-litre suitcase applied I have everything I need. The assembly is very simple as well as the disassembly, once the rack is fixed it is firmly attached to the bike and also allows you to do a decent off-road.

Great product, installed it on a Haibike 5.0 hardseven electric bike which had mudguards fitted to it and it works very well. 27.5 Wheels. Light, sturdy and good looking. The plate that came with it was different from the ones in the picture, but the one I wanted anyway, ie., the one with the six rectangular holes in the top and not the one with the blank plate.

I also have the thule in the photo. It´s a great rack for easy tours. Like all parcel racks mounted on carbon frames you have to be careful about the stresses therefore excellent on dirt roads and not very bumpy (also because with the bags you forget the single track). Better to also buy side protectors to risk having problems with the bags. With the Aero luggage rack you can also try some single track as it does not support the side bags but an upper PVC cylinder giving more stability to the bike. However, the cylinder has little capacity (25 litres) and the weight on the fork becomes less of a problem

The wheel arch space of the Thule Luggage Carrier is approximately 8.5 cm. On my bike I have Schwalbe tires which are 6.5 cm, so I have 1 cm left on each side. For a FatBike, the tires are generally 4 inches (or more), or 10 cm, so that won´t work. No feedback with other models. Cdlt

What cannot be made of carbon are the seat stays and chainstays of the frame, because they can break due to the tension of the rack support. If the frame is carbon and the chainstays and seatstays are aluminum, there is no problem using the rack. My bike is one of these and I have used it without any problem even on very rough roads.
