Its as small as it gets for front mounted child seat. As with all seats of this type it takes some getting used too but my son loves it and I'm taking him out for bike rides right away!

My wife and I can take our 1.5 year old daughter with us. It seems safe and comfortable for our daughter. My daughter loves it. Three aspects to look out for when getting this. 1) The part that attaches to the stem accommodates smaller steerers better. I have a straight 1.5 inch steerer; it would not fit. On my wife's tapered steerer, the fit is a struggle as the screws it comes with are rather short. I probably would liook for longer screws. 2) the part where the foot rest metal poles sticks out, has to be forced out of the way slightly as it meets with the top of the fork. This all is on my wife's 2012 Giant Reign size XS. 3) Turning the bike, has been compromised. With the foot rest metal poles against the fork, turning arc has been reduced by 50 percent. Possibly a longer steerer tube can solve this problem. But I have yet to try resolve this.
