Product description Tufo Tubular Sealant

TUFO tire Sealant Standard.

To repair flats on all Tufo tires.

It can be used after getting a flat and also preventively when applied to the inside of the tire before use.

When a flat occurs the sealant seals the puncture so the rider does not even detects getting a felt.

It increases safety considerably, since flats loss of air does not occur and, consequently, rider´s stability is not affected.

Application though the valve stem.

Contents 50 ml, valid for 1 to 3 repairs.- Supplied with valve tool..

Sealant actually works in a Tubular tyre. Using a continental competition and there seem to be a leak somewhere. After using this sealant i could see the tear to be quite major. Guess what...it sealed and I can pump up to 120PSI and its still holding the pressure.

The consistency seems very good for the repair of small and medium holes. I use it with tubular tires since I had a bad experience with Stan who, in addition to not covering larger holes because he is very liquid, also does not react well with latex chambers, forming a huge gum inside the chamber that can eventually block the valve. I liked the fact that there was also a tool to loosen the valve core, sometimes when pedaling it is possible to forget or lose this little tool and because it comes with the bottle it makes life easier.
