The Thundero can do it all. The middle part of the tread, composed of tightly packed cubes, creates speed and surprisingly quiet rolling with three indented rows of knobs on the outer tread, which bite literally into any surface. This provides excellent grip even on unpaved surfaces and allows you to turn sharply. The wide tread and the durable flexible Jubena layer covering the sidewalls protect the tyre from receiving damage from stones. A Puncture proof ply under the tread minimizes the risk of punctures and contributes to the overall reliability of the tyre. The high TPI casing construction, together with the soft tread compound, smoothes out any surface and prevents the tyre from bouncing on uneven surfaces. The Thundero is also made to be long lasting and guarantees high mileage.

First ride on the these today in a variety of conditions and am very impressed. Rolling resistance appears low both on and off road and the tyres grip well on the majority of surfaces. Great value as well.

I wanted to try them, I had already gone through Maxxis, WTB, Zipp G40 tires and of these Tufo had read very good comments and seen tests in different media and the truth is that I corroborate everything. They have very good rolling, very good grip, so far good resistance to punctures and are light in weight. They meet all the requirements. Delighted with them.

Good tires at a good price. This is my second set of Thunderos purchased from Bike Inn. This second took a bit longer to arrive here in California than the first purchase but was not in a hurry to get them so no worries.

Fast shipping except that MRW ESPAÑA does not work very well and you have to go pick it up at its nearest office because they do not call you at the door of your house. Covers very easy to install. Mounted on carbon wheels with an internal width of 25 and they give a very good ball

Have put about 500 miles on these tires now in various conditions (pavement, gravel, dirt, trails) and so far, so good. Went on fairly easily and give nice grip in various terrain; mud clogged them a bit (as expected) but they self-clear pretty nicely. Had one flat due to a nasty piece of road debris that required a plug, but no tire would have done much against that. Recommended (especially at the BikeInn prices- phenomenal!)

700cx40 Thundero's arrived the night before a wet 100K gravel race w/ nearly impassable B roads. Mounted up easily, night and day difference from Maxxis Velocitas which came stock on my Lauf. Inflated using a compressor to seat the bead and filled with Silca sealant. Tires ran smooth on tarmac and provided more than adequate grip on the slippery and somewhat muddy gravel, even lout of the saddle. No punctures through farmland B roads. Impacted in the mud, but that's not what they were designed for. Mud cleared quickly once back up to speed. Lauf Anywhere is used as my commuter, road bike and gravel racer. They do kick up small gravel in dry and wet conditions, so eye protection will now be standard equipment. Have yet to ride a road TT to see how they perform to a slick gravel tire. Purchased another pair in tan/black for a backup.

Don´t believe so. For gravel use tubeless sealants will provide a lot of protection from small punctures. I´ve ran these for a year now over gravel and winter roads and have been sold

This is a tubeless ready tire. If you would like to run it with tubes a 700x 35-42 tube is what you’ll need.

I have both the Thundero and Speedero. I don't see any directional arrows to indicate which direction to mount. Are these tires directional, or can they be mounted in any direction?

I think it´s too wide a throat for this tire. It can be tubed, and is very resistant to punctures and wear.
