VAUDE Primasoft II Gilet

The magic science of layering for biking: 3 zones x 4 layers + eco-friendly manufacturing = intelligent weather protection. In the new hybrid Primasoft short sleeve vest, VAUDE combines Primaloft® padding with classic softshell material. Results: a highly stretchy, partially wind and water resistant vest that insulates all torso zones most susceptible to cooling out. Insulation in proven VAUDE Green Shape quality, with primary materials manufactured in accordance with the stringent bluesign® standard. The design: outer and inner materials are identical in all zones; the difference is only in what lies between these layers. In Zone 1, the chest and shoulder regions, a 100% windproof and waterproof membrane effectively protects the upper body areas that are most susceptible to wind-chill. Lightweight and finely structured, the Primaloft® padding helps ensure comfortable thermal insulation of the upper body. Zone 2, the lower front and back areas, the membrane is integrated but no extra insulating padding is added. In Zone 3, the rest of the back and under the arms, the membrane is not included, increasing the materials breathability and stretch performance. The vest goes along with every move and ensures high performing wicking action at the back. This product features Eco Finish, a flourocarbon free (PFC-free) textile finish that provides environmentally friendly water repellency.
