Hello, which wheel should I take to mount a disc brake? My current wheel has this reference MACH1. 110E 559. 21C. ALLOV6060T60. 32605.2 Thank you
Answer of Dorin IUHAS
Hello.1/ You sent your question from the web-page of a rear wheel which is only for rim brake (V-brake or Cantilever), and not for disc brake2/ Your question is too vague, because :-you didn´t state : Rear Wheel or Front ? what kind of axle : solid axle ? quick release 9.5mm~10mm axle ? non-boost Thru-axle ? boost Thru-axle ?-nobody can really search the reference you gave : there is a multitude of references !! That´s not where to start-didn´t state : your current brake system set-up ? you want hydraulic disc ? cable-operated disc ?-didn´t state how much time, energy, money you´re prepared to spend to change maybe the brake levers, brake outer gears, replace them with hydraulic-disc-compatible components3/ Too short : we don´t know whether you already searched the basics that must be knownPlease, this is my suggestiona/ find out why you need a disc instead of ordinary rim brake (these rim brakes can brake extremely short, if the whole system is well maintained : adjustment correct, rim surface clean, wheel not too much out-of-true )b/ types of brakes : https://www.bikeradar.com/advice/buyers-guides/bike-brakes/c/ types of axles : https://www.bikeradar.com/features/mtb-axle-standards/d/ please visit your Local Bike Shop bringing your bike with you, explain to them your needs, ask them for advice and pricing, then (once the needs and pricing are clear) come back to BikeInn to have a look at the items you needI apologize if I misunderstood something in your request. Wishing you happy bike rides.

Hi there I would like to know if this rim is compatible for my mountain bike, I am looking for a 26" rim for 7 threaded sprockets with nuts, also I want to know if it has a rim tape Greetings and thanks Fabio
Answer of Christian
Hello Fabio. This is a whole rear wheel, Rim dimension is a 26-inch (accurate description is ETRTO 559 ) -is single-walled, sold without rim tape (so you have to mount a rim tape) ; the approximate width for tape is 16~18mm -supports rim brake (V-brake) and no disc brake -valve hole diameter 8,3 or 8,5mm (for Schrader valve) Count of spokes : 36 spokes Hub : -The hub is threaded : in other words, you can screw onto the hub a 7-gear sprocket -The hub is secured by nuts ; but you'd better keep the nuts of your old wheel, as spare parts ( as you know, in bicycle mechanics, don't throw away anything unless completely useless or irreparable :-) Happy Bike Rides, Fabio.
