The Rubino Control is a folding tire with a very robust construction, capable of handling the worst of road conditions, without sacrificing the performance the Rubino range is known for. With full bead-to-bead tread wrap, cuts and punctures are dramatically reduced, and are reinforced with the PRB anti-puncture layer inside the casing. The Rubino Control also shares the exclusive 3C Graphene compound structure, long service life, puncture protection, sharp handling traits, and lightweight folding bead material of the Rubino Pro.

This is the second pair of tires I buy from Rubino Pro Control. After 2,000 kilometers, the tread starts to show. The central part is visibly more resistant and takes longer to wear out, thus avoiding that square aspect that we see with the most sensitive tires. About punctures, it is resistant, but not insurmountable. On the roads in Brazil, which are a real tire wearing/puncturing machine, I got a puncture 7 times in a thousand kilometer race. Even by Brazilian standards, this tire is very good and comfortable. I recommend!

I bought these tires again, because overall they are good. Although they are protected against punctures, I managed to puncture them in the place where the asphalt is missing. They are quite difficult to mount, so I managed to pierce the tubes.

I have tested the tires on a 60 km outing and in the wet, I have taken them to a pressure of 7.5 bar and the feeling of grip has been good. Since I do sports to gain health and I'm not one of those "professional weekenders" who swarm our roads, I don't mind sacrificing speed for safety and these tires are the ideal ones for it.
