I installed it on Cannondale's Topstone Carbon3 L. Since it has KingPin Suspension, the 80mm travel dropper seatpost is a perfect match for this model, which doesn't have much seatpost insertion. It moves well and the fact that there are no wires is nice and simple. Expect durability!

The seat post is very easy to assemble, simply swap it for the normal post, adjust the height and saddle angle, and you're done. reacts quickly and, with a little practice, can also be operated while driving. The Vario support is good if you have no way to lay the cable inside

I've been with the seatpost for 6 months and no complaints. Correct operation, installation in two minutes .. It has a very slight slack when extended, from what I was told it is normal for almost all dropper posts.

I bought this because I didn't want to install a post with an external cable, also didn't want to invest in the extra cost of a remote post on a beginner bike. Build quality seems very good and assembly and first use was seamless. The control is easy to use and with care can be used while riding, however you should assume that it needs to be operated while stationary for your own safety. I think it's a great alternative to adjusting the post manually, just be mindful that operating it while approaching a ramp may not be the best idea.

I have 100mm of seat post above my seat tube so will not be able to use the full drop. will I be able to set the post at the correct height for me and only use the remaining drop ,with the seat returning to the correct height?

Yes you can. The only difficulty may be in the process of returning to the raised position. It will "try" to gain all the height, but you can release the handle at the desired height and it will stay there. I usually do this and leave a little "extra height" reserved for rolling.

then mounted this telescopic seatpost on a gravel bike, has no side slack or yields down, smooth operation, I see good quality, mount the 390 mm, I'm just the right extent by the hairs, butted down , you have to measure well, because if your frame does not have a lot of sluping, you can keep the seat high, or ask for the 340 mm short one.
