The side pins also give the necessary support in everyday shoes. Before installation, the inserted reflectors should also be glued, otherwise they will slip out to the side. Since the pedal can only be assembled and disassembled with an Allen key and not with an open-end wrench, I deduct a star here. Otherwise solid pedal in a very good size for me.
