XLC Saddle frame with scale:
- The scale on the base frame shows the range within which the seat post can be attached to the frame. Furthermore, the scale helps to adjust your personal riding position.

XLC Zonecut:
- Zonecut is an ergonomic indentation in the saddle padding. This indentation reduces the pressure upon the perineum, thus avoiding excess pressure on nerves and blood vessels. Thus a far higher riding comfort is achieved which is very pleasant, especially on longer tours.

XLC Unisex:
- The properties of the XLC saddles were developed for the special anatomic demands of men and women. The distance between women’s ischial bones is about 130mm, men’s about 117mm. Furthermore, the genital areas of men and women are completely different. For this reason, special ladies’ XLC saddles are broader and shorter than those for gentlemen. The positioning of pressure-relieving padding is also arranged to match the different anatomic demands. There are two areas of use for which XLC produces saddles suited for men and women alike. Firstly, very sportive saddles, as the requirements and wishes of men and women in this area are very much alike. There exists a great choice of special MTB and race saddles for ladies, but still many women choose gents’ MTB saddles. Secondly, there are the very comfortable saddles for city and comfort bikes. These unisex saddles are very large and their soft padding is suited for ladies and gentlemen alike.

XLC Sitting Position Sport:
- When developing a new XLC saddle initially the desired application area and thus directly connected seating position is in the foreground. Because the seating position ultimately determines the shape and padding of the newly developed saddle. The saddle structures of the XLC sport saddles are ideal for a sporty riding position in which the upper body, is greatly inclined at about 15° to the front. These saddles are mainly used for MTBs, cross and road bikes.

Very good, better than i expected

Xlc sa-t17 in 180mm width, an unexpectedly good saddle at a very reasonable price!

The XLC SA-T17 in the 180mm wide version is ideal for a sit bone distance of 13cm and more and for a back posture of 45 to 70°. I now ride it on the trekking bike (back position about 70°) and on the MTB (back position about 45°). I had first tested the saddle width at 160mm, which unfortunately was too narrow for my sit bone distance. With the XLC SA-T17, the saddle width is measured at the widest outer points. The saddle is pleasantly firm and stable and carries my body weight of 86 kg plus the occasional rucksack excellently without sinking in softly and crunching anything. Bumps from the road are still dampened reasonably well. For a sports and trekking saddle in its price range, it is even comparatively very light. Since the defect in my leather saddle on my touring bike, I have now mounted the XLC SA-T17 with a width of 180mm there as well. He even proved himself on a 204km bike ride without pain with padded cycling shorts. Conclusion: An insider tip among the saddles. The SA-T17 is available in different widths.Measure the width of the sit bone with a corrugated cardboard imprint and add 3 centimeters: The result is the required width (if the result is not exact, round up to the next width. A saddle that is a little too wide is absolutely not bothersome, while a saddle that is too narrow can be very painful) . Available widths are 135, 145, 150, 160, 180 and 200mm. This saddle series is still in the XLC program for 2023/24. However, the manufacturer of the saddle is the company "Velo" from China.
