Fast and cut resistant

Replaced worn out Conti 4000s with these and after almost 1,000 miles they've been great. Fast rolling and long wearing. No signs of cuts from the glass which is all to common on a number of the roads. If you're looking for a fast traditional (aka tubed) tire, I highly recommend these But don't get me wrong, these are a performance/race tire and I wouldn't recommend them for general commuting or touring.

I bought it because of good reviews and got a 15% discount ㅠㅠ I plan to use it next year, so it is 28c. Actual weight is 230g. It is light and seems to have good traction.

Product arrived in reasonable time , one boxed, one not. No problem mounting them , paired with 28g TPU tubes which I had been using with the other tires. First impression on riding them is that ride quality is good, and they felt noticably faster.

An exquisite ride, combined with TPU cameras that I was also trying for the first time. It all adds up but I didn't expect to notice it so much. The grip is good although I haven't committed them yet. I haven't ridden enough to test durability. The only insignificant but is that they come in a bag without a box and it may seem a little "like that", I understand that they must be purchased in large batches and cost savings to offer a competitive price, but it would be good if you were warned so as not to think badly. But no, they are original, and they meet the specifications given 217g in width 25, amazing.

The product arrived to me as if it were OEM, for manufacturers, in a plastic bag, without the usual box presentation, with instructions, etc. that they usually have in stores. I haven't assembled them yet, they are going to replace other Michelin ones of a similar range, the power competition. The power competition has very good grip, low rolling resistance and durability and resistance to punctures is good. Very happy with them so I repeat with the current model.

Tested in the mountains, very good rolling, good grip, even on a technical descent on a degraded road, inflated to 7 bar. A priori as good as my Power Road, which on the other hand wore out quickly.

It is more chewy than GP5000 and has a good ride. The feeling of grip during rolling and cornering is about the same as the GP5000. I recommend the Gp5000 if you like the hard, dry feel of a clincher, and the Power Cup if you like the old-fashioned tubular feel.

I bought it because it had a good reputation on youtube impressions. I chose 28C because of the comfort of the ride, but it weighs 233g and seems to have a good grip, so I´m looking forward to future rides. I couldn´t get it in Japan and the price was cheap, so I´m going to buy it again.

All-around excellent high performance tire. Very fast/efficient, with confident cornering manners. Vibration damping is excellent, and I find them to be more stable than Conti GP5000's. Note that they run large (like some other Michelin tires). On 19mm (inner width) rim the 25's measure nearly 28 (80-85psi), and 28's measure 30 (70-75psi). My new favorite fast tire, after several thousands miles of riding. Highly recommended.

The tire seems to be good quality, but I am not sure it is as good as the Michelin Power Competition. I guess time will tell, but overall a good tire.

I bought this tire together with the 28 version. On a 622x21C rim they are 28.6mm at 90psi. I confirm my analysis that I did on version 28: easy to mount tires, excellent rollers. Let's see its durability.

I had the previous Michelin Power Competition and I was very happy with those tyres then Michelin discontinued them and replaced them with the Power Road which I didn’t like so I switch to the GP5000 and lost my confidence cornering on those tyres, they do have good road vibration dampening qualities but feel spongy and slow. So now comes along the Power Cup tyre and after one ride I’m very happy with them and this will be my go to tyre. The other reviews mostly mention the Corning ability and this is correct they also have good road vibration dampening qualities without being too spongy. The New Power Cup tyre is a pure slick without any tread or laser etched tread this is better as I find tyres with tread only pick up grains of sand, small rocks or even glass throwing it in you chain or giving you a flat tyre. I don’t understand how GP5000 have such a universally good rating when cornering is a big part of cycling. Good job Michelin.
