SunRace Cassette MX80 VS Shimano Deore M5100

Hello, I need to replace my original Shimano DEORE M5100 11S-51T cassette. I saw that you offered a Sunrace model that was apparently compatible. Can you confirm to me that it is compatible and of higher quality than Shimano? Thank you in advance for your help. Good day to you. Mark

Mark in terms of compatibility just make sure you have the right hub, standard Shimano HD hubs are different to micro-spline and SRAM XD. Micro-spline and SRAM XD allow a 10 tooth smallest cog on the cassette while with Shimano HD its 11 tooth. Your Deore 11T-51T will likely be an HD hub and should be compatible with the Sunrace offerings. I have 2 Sunrace cassettes on a standard Shimano HD hub, one is an 11 speed 11-51t and the newest is a 12 speed 11-50t in terms of quality I can only speak as I find with the shift quality very good when run-on on my SRAM X01 derailleur and XX1 shifter remember with a cable shifter the shifter controls the cable so it can make an impact on shift quality. I'm about to try the 12 speed with a SRAM Apex cable drop ,bar shifter. The Sunrace cassettes I have are on spiders and some say this is better than individual cog cassettes such as some of the lower end SRAM stuff

The advertised product is the MX80 11v 11-51 black (ending in 39-45-51), but the photos and description are of the 11-50 (ending in 36-42-50). I have to be sure I buy the former and not the latter. I also understand that it is the csmx80 model, which weighs 519gr (the same as the silver one you also have for sale) Thank you

Hi, I also purchased the same product and I can confirm that it is a 51, but I didn´t count the other 2 as I was only interested in it being a final 51, and I can´t do that now because I no longer have the bike available. Good day
