I bought this meter because I doubted the reliability of the one I had when my last chain gave me a wear of 50% when it was new. This one seems more robust, so to speak, and clearer in interpretation. I have verified that the previous one was fine, but even so, I like this one much better, it makes the point of wear clearer and the extra one to hold the chain is very useful. So far the best meter I have used.

Clear and simple gauge, if the first 2 teeth go completely into the chain it is time to change it, if the 3 go in, it is better to also change the chainring and sprockets.
