Brooks & Co. first introduced a saddle with a ''patented cutout to prevent pressure on the perineum'' in the 1890s. This ingenious solution to a problem still familiar to today´s cyclist came out of production in the 1950s. However, we have recently resurrected this feature, reintroducing this ''patented cut'' on some models. Our IMPERIAL saddles once again offer a solution to numbness problems, with dedicated models for both men and women.
