Word has it that back when Costante Girardegno was winning the 1919 Giro d?Italia, he was clothed by Milan-based tailor Vittore Gianni, which would later become Castelli. In the intervening century, we´ve managed to improve on the wool fabrics that we used for Costante. Now we wrap virgin wool around a nylon core to reduce shrinkage and improve the hand and moisture management. And, because, it´s not a spun yarn, it won´t twist around your body. Classically styled in the most modern traditional fibers.
