All the foul-weather protection of the Perfetto RoS 2 Jacket for cold and/or wet conditions, converting into a short-sleeve jacket like the Gabba.

This is the most versatile jacket we´ve ever made.
Usually, a jacket with zip-off sleeves is a compromise that´s not particularly good at anything.
That´s because a jacket that becomes a vest is fundamentally flawed, and it´s usually made worse by poor zipper construction.
The Perfetto Convertible is nearly identical to Castelli´s renowned Perfetto RoS 2 Jacket with allover wind protection, essentially waterproof rain protection, excellent breathability, and close-to-body fit.
By adjusting the layers underneath this jacket, you can cover everything from mild conditions to cold days, whether sunny or wet.
The sleeves zip off just above the elbow to make it nearly identical to Castelli´s renowned Gabba — the pros´ choice.
On mild days, you´ll leave home with the sleeves removed, in changing conditions you´ll pull the compact sleeves off and stuff them in a pocket.
Used this way, the Convertible is even better than a Gabba, thanks to the front zipped vents.
If you´re not sure whether to buy a Perfetto RoS 2 Jacket or Gabba RoS 2, then the Convertible is the way to go.
Already have a Perfetto and a Gabba? You´ll be surprised how convenient the Convertible is for mid-ride shedding of the sleeves, but it really shines for travel, when space is limited.

Perfect all-weather jacket

If you want just 1 jacket, this is it. Can unzip, open the sides, take the sleeves off. Great for climbing and not freezing on the downhill.

I can only agree with the positive assessment of the other recessions. The jacket is very good. The combination of windproof and waterproof with breathable makes it comfortable to wear. The thin jacket provides little insulation against cool temperatures. This requires warm underwear. By selecting the undergarment, the jacket can be used in a wide temperature range. And if it gets too warm during exertion, the breathability helps prevent sweating and the adjustment of the air supply via the zipper helps prevent overheating. The yellow/green color makes you easily visible but is also very sensitive to dirt. I can recommend the jacket. For cold temperatures in winter I still have the Castelli winter jacket, which is thermally insulated and significantly warmer, but otherwise the same.

Bunda zatím využita na několika vyjížďkách, velká spokojenost. Velikost odpovídá tabulce, byl jsem na rozhraní L a XL a nakonec jsem zvolil těsnější střih velikosti L. Měřím 180 cm váha 81 kg. Nejtěsnější místo je kolem zipů na rukávech v oblasti bicepsů (není to pro svalovce:)). Nutné je zkoušet v pozici na kole, při stání před zrcadlem se jeví malá! Využito v teplotách 3-12°C s teplejším dresem nebo jen se základní vrstvou. Vyzkoušeno i odvětrání na přední části, ale velký efekt jsem nepociťoval. Výborný je vysoký límec a lehce jezdící zip. Celkově se jedná o kvalitní bundu a nákup určitě doporučuji.

Should you have only one cycling jacket, this is it. The legend proven in pro cycling by over a decade. I can compare gen. 1 and 2 . This one has a bit looser fit, which is very welcomed, three pockets ( finally), longer sleeves for aero position, two zippers ( perfect for thermoregulating during climbs) , de-attachable sleeves makes it very versatile and the top seam has been removed ( perfect for a backpack) Perfetto RoS is a must have piece of cycling garment.
