Compared to our standard Warmer fabric, we´ve lightened it up a touch and added some spandex/elastane for more stretch.
It has a close-to-body aero fit without feeling too tight.
It´s a performance piece for every ride, with our drop-pocket construction and YKK® Vislon® zipper for easy one-handed adjustment.
Why would you want a less warm thermal jersey? One situation is in conditions that are too cool for a short-sleeve jersey and it just feels better to cover up and add this bit of warmth.
Another situation is a higher-intensity ride where it´s easy to overheat.

perfect jersey for me

one of my favorite pieces of cycling garment. colour is slightly different. inside, with artificial lights it looks almost exactly the same as as in these photos, but outside, in the sunshine it takes slightly purple tint. it has a race fit and i am between xs and s in castelli's size chart. so i decided to size up to s. no regrets on that. it has some wrinkles, but it gives me ability to put a base layer under it. with a base layer I can wear it until the temperature drops to 8C. pockets are good, zipper is flawless, The fabric is very nice to the touch and breathes well

They have made long sleeves and thermal mid weather stuff in the past with mixed results. I've had to buy long sleeve from other brands to supplement my Castelli kit as it was a gap in their line up. But this is the best by far. The complete set of long sleeve short sleeve, vest and Tutto Nano Ros in the same colour is a WIN! Please Castelli keep this up! Very warm, also very breathable, can be worn with vest and baselayers for extra warmth. The short sleeve version super versatile with arm warmers for cold starts and wam finishes. It so good I purchase 2 sets!
