Hello. I don´t think the inside of your rim is 38mm wide. It would be a super wide tire and surely downhill. Which is of no use to you. However, I think you may have looked at it from another deck you´ve carried and it refers to the width of the ball of the deck once mounted. So the inside of your rim would be in the range between 19 and 25 mm and it would work for you. As you can see, the first thing you have to find out is the width of the inside of your rim to see if a tire is compatible with that rim, since the number 622 is equivalent to the wheel diameter, which in this case corresponds to 29”.

In theory it should be 29x1.4, but in reality it´s more a 29x1.5, l guess. Similar to 29x2.0 could be the 700x50.
