Comfortable cheap 42c tyre - rolls we’ll on road and comfy off road

Bought these to see if 42c tyres fit in my old 90s steel hybrid frame so I could have one of them there gravel bikes. They do, they’re comfortable, roll well on the roads and do ok on the trails I ride on (summer only so far). Puncture protection not great though - some relatively small thorns getting through). I’ve had 37c CST Pioneers and 35c Schwalbe CX on the same bike. These are better than the CST for comfort and smoother on the road, but will not be as good in winter I suspect. Similar to the CX on road but bigger volume makes them more comfy on stonier and rootier trails.

Tire for the fat but fairly rolling on bitumen (not as much as a slick anyway. Easy assembly, weight within the norm for this type of tire. Mounted on a 700c gravel rim. Great price!

I have only tested the rear wheel, of three different models I have used it is the trekking bike tire with the most grip on gravel and mud. Time will tell if it is worth the purchase.
