Suitability for flat handlebars

I see that the generation 2 levers are marketed for drop ,bars and gravel bikes. Would this lever work with a set of flat bars?

No, drop bars only. It is a very nice remote for drop bars though.

It´s for road or gravel bike bars only, drop bars. For flat bars you´ll need a mountain bike style lever, there are two types, one for 1x gearing and another for 2x setups with a front derailleur.

Can this lever work with other brands of seatposts? o the system is exclusive for crankbrothers droppers

Yes it can. I´m using it on a Brand-X one. As long as it´s actuated using the same sized SRAM/Shimano style gear cable, you should be fine.

It´s just a lever so should work with any dropper. I´m using it with a X-Fusion Manic 50mm Gravel dropper. It´s a great switch and makes using the dropper so much simpler.

It should work fine with any mechanical post (not hydraulic). I use it with a PNW and it works great.
