Wrong description, the product is entirely made of aluminum and not carbon.

This is not a carbon material. The seat post body and saddle base rail fixing hardware are made of aluminum. The bolts and nuts (of the base rail fixings) are made of steel.

I have now ridden 1000 km with this light aluminum Deda seat post and it fully meets my expectations. It is beautifully finished, sleek and very compact. The saddle rails clamp onto it, making it sit elegantly on the frame.
