An excellent product, the Garmin 1040 Solar, like everything Garmin makes. Many new functions, but we must have the corresponding sensors for them to work, one more expense. This cyclocomputer has improved the start that is much faster than the previous ones, the screen is very clear, and above all the best thing is the excellent battery life and the protector that for this game is very rigid compared to what you sell other dealers. In conclusion, I personally liked it.

I have been using Garmin products for a long time and was ready for clumsy software. I switched from 820. The navigator is of course a big nice sensor. When trying to remove the plug, it fell off, it’s good to have small screwdrivers repaired, in Taiwan, during assembly, the plug retainers were not installed correctly. I flooded the OCM cards, which is not a problem with the previous 820. And all 1040 freezes, reboots, resetting to factory settings, etc. did not help, I think everyone arrived. But after reading the forums, I found an update, installed it manually, manually deleted the OCM cards. Then I updated to the latest firmware and, lo and behold, the OSM cards work and everything works. Haven't traveled with him yet. If I add anything. P.S.the kit comes with a silicone case, I either read the package badly or it was not indicated, I ordered it separately and now I have two of them.
