It is an aluminum wheel with a QR type quick release axle (the usual conventional one). Note that it is for screw-in cassettes. It´s a wheel for a bargain price. I am delighted with her.

On my bike, with a width of 135mm for the rear hub, the wheel fit perfectly. Based on my experience, I think there is not enough clearance in the hub to fit the wheel into a 5mm narrower frame. However, if the bike has a steel frame, perhaps you could try widening the distance between the seatstays to be able to use this wheel.
