An essential clamp.

I hesitated before investing in a clamp like this. But at the first use I understood that it is a useful expense. No more hassle crimping ferrules or cutting cables cleanly.

I never tested this item's cable cutting capabilities. My main reason of purchase was to have something that crimped the wire-end ferrules. I had recently purchased a Bikehand tool because it appeared to be capable of crimping, which it wasn't. The first thing I did when receiving this plier (the Jagwire) was to pull off an reinstall another wire-end cap. It did it with ease (after I figured out that I would need to fully open the handles to fit the ferule) and I was unable to pull the cap off the wire end. For this reason alone I recommend this product to any person specifically needing a tool that accomplishes this.
